Today when we picked her up from the vet she was able to eat and ate some fish as well as some special food they gave us for her.

I have to carry her occasionally this week because she has trouble walking.Īll of yesterday I had the worst headache I’ve had in while and yesterday i was crying all day as well and also today. We give her medicine so she can eat without throwing up. They gave her a subcutaneous IV to help her body flush out toxins and today we took her at 7 AM to receive IV fluid until 5 pm. I was expecting them to just say that she needed to rest and not walk and that maybe she was throwing up because of the pain from her hip but the vet told us that she has kidney failure and has at most a few weeks left. We called the vet and took her in yesterday and they did blood work. She started to throw up and wouldn’t barely eat or keep food down the day before yesterday and began walking strangely again. My dog, Princess/Pokey, had hurt her hip maybe about two weeks ago and was walking funny but went back to normal.
